If you can spot Pablo Bear in the middle of the flowers you are well on your way to contributing to this wiki. If you can't you should be looking at other things.
This is the front page but there are other pages that can be looked at and changed. The sidebar also has different bits of information which might be useful. Have a good look round to see what there is.
The golden rule of this wiki is find something for free and share it. While not everything that is free is worthwhile and sometimes paying lots of money is better (Fernando Torres and Andrei Voronin are examples of this! and I agree!) in the world of educational ICT it's worth a go.
Have a look at http://creativeict.typepad.com/my_weblog/2008/02/my-top-ten-free.html
for an excellent starter.................. but don't try have a look at this in Sefton...........it is against the acceptable use policy and can't be viewed....but it has got loads of info so look at it at home instead.
Why not watch a few short films. Go to
http://www.britannicadreams.com/musicvideos.html
If you have any free ideas that you don't mind sharing just add to this wiki.
Heres a great place to look at literacy ideas.

You could use them as examples in lessons. Or just read them for fun!
If you are interested in Early years and Ks1 teaching go to www.sparklebox.co.uk
or if Ks2 is more for you go to www.sparklebox2.co.uk
Lots of resources to use in and around the classroom.
How about www.tes.co.uk/resources/Home.aspx for resources? It's always worth a look! There's a lady 'Bev Evans', who has uploaded some great stuff!
If that's ok ....then banning Comic Sans is ok. On the subjet of things being banned if you are viewing this wiki from inside a Sefton School then "this brilliant blog" (and it is......I read it on my Nokia 958G while in school!! - how daring is that????) is contary to the acceptable use policy of Sefton.
Even if you dont, have a look anyway.
From John Sutton's most recent ICT newsletter come some more fab ideas and resources.

John's ideas and links are always really worth looking at and to get his ICT newletter go to http://www.creativeict.typepad.com/
Of course.....(my Y1 class call them dot dot dot in story time because they know that something is coming in the next bit of the story) ......there is Audacity. For recording voices and music and then being able to use the saved files for podcasting, Audacity is the one to have....and it's free!!
Here it is....http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
It looks great, (the BBC website usually is) and its free is ......

I came across a website call Parents in Touch. It looks quite useful and helpful for lots of different reasons. Make sure that you look at the ITC section. http://www.parentsintouch.co.uk/index.htm
An alternative to Photoshop is http://gimp.org/
A great way to present video clips on your blog is to use blip tv. Go to http://blip.tv/ ...........it's free and very easy to use.
